Researchers conducted a study to review a newly designed prototype that would be developed using the 3 aspects of the learning environment (CLE) of the aspiring, pedagogical, social and technological aspects. The purpose of this study is to analyze and review about the protit of the environment in improving students' speaking ability. 26 engineering students participated in this study and data were collected using questionnaires and supported by interviews. The results of the research showed that prototypes would help univeraitas in improving students' speaking ability.
