Maori are the original people of New Zealand. The first Maoriarrived about 1000 years ago. Actually New Zealand is maily a Christian country. It also called them selves Kiwis. It come from the national bird named Kiwi, but it cannot fly and only comes out at night. Human Kiwis love to spend their wings and travel to other coutries. Many visitors are surprised that there is so little night life in New Zealand.
