182-184 article

I think this book is telling, although interested in the phenomenon of selfie recently increased, there is no research that examines the meaning behind the selfie romantic post. In a melib study, we examined whether the number of romantic selfies on a Facebook profile could reliably reflect the level of love in heterosexual relationships, as evaluated using the Triangular Sternberg Love Scale. We found that the overall score of Love Scale positively estimated the number of romantic selfies posted. In addition, in men, scores of two of the three subscales-Passion and Commitment - each independently predicted the number of romantic selfies. In contrast, female romantic selfie-post behavior correlates with only one subscale. Our findings provide the first evidence that the relationship between romantic self-romantic love and behavior is stronger among men than among women. Therefore, our results may highlight major romantic behavior differences in online social networks in both sexes.
