Title of Article: Teaching English to Young Learners via Drama

In teaching English for young learners there are several techniques used by teachers. One of them through drama. The whole society starts from children, teenagers, to adults like drama. Watching drama is one of the most effective ways of learning English compared to traditional vocabulary teaching methods, because through drama, young learners can easier to get new knowledge such as vocabulay. Then, it would be more effective if the teachers include the students to act in a drama (Creative Drama). Creative drama is an improvisation of a drama that already exists a little change with creative and innovative. Through the acting young learners will be more vocabulary recall in the long term because before showing a drama they will definitely do various exercises such as memorizing the script and so on. They will work in a group, they will learn from each other. They have their own responsibility in carrying out their role and helping each other. It will train their teamwork. In addition the drama is also able to train their communication skills. Using drama techniques in teaching the language in the classroom, a teacher should train their understanding skills about a drama and train their courage. On the other hand a teacher also still must emphasize the learning process for each student.
