"Why I am paraphrasing?: Undergraduate  ESL writers engagement with sourch-based academic writing and reading"

  One of the most common and vital areas of coverange in L1 writing intruction is writing from source, that is the process of reading source text material and transfering content from that reading to writing. Practice in the classroom, particularly true in the domain of paraphrasing, an important and yet complicated device for the treatment of source text material. This article explain about a study of two mainland Chinese student's angagement with paraphrasing with a particular focus on their understanding of the purpose and functions of paraphrasing and understanding influenced their paraphrasing practices.
