This novel is about a mystery story. In this novel, there are two students, Pete and Carla who visited the city of Bath in England. They met a man played a flute while they were walking around looking at the shop and the buildings. He was standing close to the window of a shop which sold coins and stamps. Afterwards, Pete and Carla went into the shop and had a look. Pete wanted some stamps, but they were too expensive and the girl shop assistant was unfriendly. Then, they went to a cafe for a dinner.

Suddenly, the coins shop owner came to find them there. He said that some of his coins are missing, and he thought that Pete and Carla had stolen them, but a policeman proved that they had not take the coins.

Later, Carla heard sound of a music again. She realized that the girl in the shop was a friend of the flute man. They were cooperating to stole the coins. The girl dropped the coins into the flute man hat  through the open window. Carla explained it to the police man.

The coin shop owner was so pleased with Pete and Carla, then he gave Pete stamps that he wanted.

This novel is quite interesting for me. It has a good story and I like this novel because the story is simple and easy to understand.
